A religious resume is something people like to recite to you and/or add to their name every chance they get. I call it a Religious Resume versus a Christian or Spiritual one because that is just what it is...religion.
For example: an older member in the church may not be willing to take guidance from someone younger because the older person 'has been saved since (insert year here) , served on (insert name of committee(s) here), can recite (insert # of chapters here) from the Bible, and has been ordained since (insert year here), so on and so forth.
Please note: this is not just limited to older folks. People with religious resumes have a hard time believing that someone with lesser credentials (in their eyes) can minister to them. They feel that they are so high up that if the Lord wanted to speak to them He would come in a trance or dream or send Gabriel to them versus using another mortal.
The Lord can use anyone at anytime. How foolish would I be to not accept ministering from Zion just because he is two years old and I am the parent? The Lord has previously and will continue to use Zion to pray in the spirit, shift the atmosphere, remind me of my purpose and whatever else HE sees fit to do. I would miss out on my blessing or growth if pride were to come over me. The Lord doesnt look at age or anything fleshly but instead, at the heart of the man.
Spitting off a Religious Resume means nothing to the Lord. You may very well have creditials given to you from the Lord (and some from man) but your consistent fellowship with Him keeps your Spiritual License to Operate in an active state. We dont want Him to regret putting us in position as He did with Saul .
Stay in Him and be sensitive to Him manifesting Himself in others. We can't compare our work for the Lord with that of a secular job. Working for God for 5 years does not automatically qualify you to be promoted before a new hire (or someone newly serving Him) . Promotions are based on His ways and thoughts which are higher than ours. We each are a part of ONE body, not several individual bodies. Each person is important. Each person has Christ within. Lets all work to continually yield to Him versus trying to block Him from manifesting in others.
