Prior to cooking lunch one day, I decided to make a quick run to the grocery store. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I noticed a parking spot near the front door. For whatever reason I didn't want that spot, I felt I could find a better location.Nothing was wrong with that particular spot but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on a spot that was somehow better. I had to see what was out there. So I drove a little further and ended up on the next row. I pulled into a spot and wouldn't you know it, ended up directly behind the original spot! SMH!! What else could I do but drive nicely through the spot I found and into the one I should've occupied from the beginning.
The Lord used this little moment in my life, this little run to the grocery store to minister to me. He showed me that this spot was waiting for me. It was mine. No one could have it because it was intended for me! Even though I tried to ignore Him (and the parking spot He provided for me) to do my own thing, His way prevails. It always prevails. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12 Only God's plan is right. Only His way leads to life. God's plan shall prevail .
I made it harder on myself and wasted time by going around the wrong way but by GOD'S GRACE I ended up where I was suppose to be. Lets not make things harder on ourselves. Lets go right into what God has for us. After all, it's a better "spot" anyway. =)
